    Firefighter, bunker gear
Why do firefighters use a two piece suit? I have seen firefighters get burns on there back due to the jacket cominng up while working at a fire. I think a one piece suit would be much safer and more quick to put on.

This is just a guess, because I really don't know the answer. Maybe it has something to do with them being able to move around more efficiently and more quickly, if the suit is a two piece one? Also, maybe they are less likely to get overheated in a two piece suit?

When my Daewoo Nubira gets warm the gearbox changes become very jerky. The problem is worse at medium speed when the gear changes down under acceleration and then changes back up again. Problem only occurs after 30 + minutes of running.
