The truth about time and space?
Good mate and I were talking about exs today and made me think about actually how confusing my break up was.Scenerio was that my ex told me she loved me one day the next told me she wanted to take a break and I agreed(now were just good friends),she also told me she wanted to be single and didn't want boys in guys in her life for a while. The next thing I know is that she has 2 dates lined up with different guys.So with that I was confused.I just wonder how she could say she wanted space and then just go against her word like that?made me think at first whether the breakup was my fault or not. Those 2 dates turned out to be a big dissapointment. But a couple of days ago I found out that ex is still in love with me and possibly wants me back.Im currantly having thoughts of not giving it another shot due to being confused about it.I guess the thought of it happening again is just turning me away from that(and the fact that I mite be starting fresh with a new girl).

My main question is what was going through her head?did she just use that as an excuse to say she was bored with the relationship or possibly me?just makes me wonder but I'm just glad I no longer miss her so any truthful answer I get won't upset me all that much.

Hard to read the female mind but sometimes the spark fades for whatever reason, and its no ones fault when they have a change in mind, or want something different. Maybe she wanted to explore and spare your feelings, hard to say, and after a few disappointments or trials she sees you in a different light and wants to try again. That's her confusion, not yours and in the back of your mind will be that sting that you felt when you broke up with her. Personally after I move on , there is no looking back and if it didn't work then, what makes me think it can work now. Lesson learned, no reason to go back for more, so look ahead is healthy. Especially if you have gotten over the break up. Her turn to get over it. Let her.

I think talaniman has a good point. It's best to just keep moving ahead whenever a breakup happens. In fact, the person who moves on last is the one who's wondering "why is he/she so happy without me? Don't they miss me? I have to have them back!" It's a great ploy.

    Also, I want to add:

The bold-faced above is absolutely the biggest crock of sh!t girls will hand you.

What she means is she didn't want you in her life at the time. A girl is ready to date whenever a good guy comes along: if she gives you that, it's just that you're not the guy she's looking for.

Many is the time I've heard that line, and then the girl turns around and crawls in bed with someone else. Learn to recognize the differences between what girls say and what they do and you'll be fine.
