    Maintaing property that you don't own
    We have a side piece of property that we have maintained for 21 years. We have cut the grass, trimmed the trees and kept the property immaculate. The owners have never come around to maintain the property or check on it. As far as we know, they live in another town and years ago tried to sell the property but never succeeded.

    Do we have any rights to this property. I have heard through the grapevine that it may be going into foreclosure.

    Please let me know what you think.

    I'll bet the bank (no pun intended... the bank that's initiating foreclosure) would have the answer to that. Be careful where you go with this. Too much hoop-la may result in trespassing charges, based on my luck...
