    Illegal Americans
Hi my name is Diego, I'm 18 years old and I live in Denver Colorado.

I'm an Illegal immigrant of the united states, I crossed the border when I was nine, I didn't know what I was doing, I didn't have a choice. Over the time I forgot about my culture, and were I came from. I have become what I call an ILLEGAL AMERICAN. Everyday I live in fear of being deported (for whatever reasons) to a country that I don't even know anymore. Is there anything that I can do about my status? Suggestions are welcome, please help!

Why don't you just apply for citizenship? Or go back home if you want to get back in touch with your cuture :)

Sorry nauticalstar420 what I mend was that I'm an illegal immigrant, so I don't think that I'm illegible to apply for citizenship, and thank you for helping.

I'm pretty sure you can still apply. You aren't a citizen, so you can apply for it. I am from California where there is a large number of illegal immigrants and have seen many obtain citizenship. One of the requirements, among others, is that you be a permanent resident. You have been here for 9 years, you are a permanent resident.

Thank you! I'm so happy, I thought I didn't have any hopes. I'm aplying, ASAP. Again thank you.

Agreed, you can apply based on naturalisation, just explain your case that your family brought you into the US illegally but you want to become legal.
