    Lincoln Weldanpower G8000
    My buddy gave me an old G8000 and under the cover I have three wires that I don't know where they go , all three come out of the altenater , two short fat ones and a long thinner one with a open end loop term. the others have eye term. the two short ones look like they might ground to the reactor but not sure , please help , thanks Jim

    Try this site Lincoln Electric and then click on links. You should find a manual there. Hillman, what is a reactor on a welder?

    I am trying to locate a kck down solonoid for the low high idle do you know where I can purchase one linclon says they have discontinued this welder

I'm about to purchase a used Weldanpower 225. It was the model prior to the Lincoln Ranger 8 and is powered by a single cylinder 16 hp Briggs and Stratton gasoline engine. Does anyone know anything about this particular model welder... the goods... the bads... etc. Should I buy it or shy away...
