I counted 40 posts on my page before I posted this :)

And J... congrats on besting the cancer! My mom is a lumpectomy survivor, and we're all really really aware that she got very very lucky.

I'm proud of any woman that can make it through that nightmare.

Ah, no nightmare. LOL, you see, going through chemo I didn't have to shave my legs for 6 months, I was in need of a haircut anyway, and you know. I don't get "high beams" in the freezer section of the grocery store anymore!!

Went to work every morning, had chemo for lunch, then back to work!

Was a blessing for me, made me a stronger person.

Ah... my mom didn't lose her hair or anything, but she was exhausted to the point of collapse the months that she went through chemo/radiation. I flew home to help take care o fher, and the family was a blessing... but she hardly had enough energy to eat.

She says it made her stronger, too!

Maybe it's only so hard for those of us who watch, but can't help fight that fight.

Yeah, Synn, the radiation can take more out of one than chemo sometimes. Then when you are doing BOTH, holy he11!!

Yes, it is harder on the loved ones, so my husband and mother say. They can only watch, they can't "fix" it as my hubby says.

LOL, to Start. It was no big deal really!

Honestly... I wish I could be more like you, J.

You're patient, kind, and loving, but you don't take any crap off people either.

    You're a great role-model to have!

Wow, you guys need to stop this. I am getting a really big head!!

Guess what, I am not as balanced as you all make me out to be. I wish I were, but I have flaws too. I just don't show them here.

I do remember that one old member here truly thought that I needed psychiatric help and because I chose not to get it, she doesn't speak to me anymore. LOL

Start, I have my fingers crossed for that court date. You are doing such a wonderful thing for these kids. I wish there were more out there like you.
