How to connect line from washer to Refrigerator ?
The refrigerator is located against a wall that has the water line to the washing machine close bye. Can I tie into that line to get water to my new refrigerator? What precautions besides the water cut-off valve do I need to be concerned with? I have not messed with plumbing before, is this a rather simple task for someone to do that is kind of handy in other areas of home improvements ( framing, installing doors, windows etc.. ) What type of equipment would I need ( there is copper pipe that I would tie into to)?

You may tap into the washer supply line to feed the icemaker. You may use a 1/8th imch copper or plastic line to do this. A tee or a self taping valve coming off the washer line is the fitting you will use to connect to the washer supply. Good luck, Tom
