    Circumsion of girls?
    Can girls get circumsized?

    If so what do they remove?


    *edit*- Do girls even have any extra skin parts they don't need?

    Lol I know this is a dumb question but I heard that girls get circumsized in some countries.

    Girls do not have foreskin. Therefore no circumcision is necessary.

    Female circumcision (or female mutilation) is practiced in several countries in the world, usually countries that hold women as lower than men.

    There are a few types of it, with the worst being cutting off EVERYTHING down there, and sewing what's left together, only leaving a small hole for menstruation or urine.

    I have also heard that in some countries when the girl is born they stitch her up. Then when she gets married she gets unstitched. This is to prevent her from having sex before marriage. I don't know how true this is. I just heard it in one of my college classes.

    I don't know where it happens or if it really does happen. I just heard it one day while in class. My teacher wasn't sure exactly where it happened either.

    I know a site that shows exactly what they cut off and how they sow the lips closed but I don't think I can put that on here.
