almost positively kidney stones-I have them and the symptoms are exactly as you describe-you need an x-ray of the lumbar spine and kidneys to rule it out or in as the actual situation. Has the pain become so bad as to make you throw up? If so, then this is definitely kidney stones.

drink water-heaps of it. If the stones are small, you will pass them if not-and this is why you need an x-ray, you will need therapy/surgery for them.

if you can't move, have you had the area massaged? If so and there is no releif-you need to see a doctor and push for an x-ray for stones or, an ultrasound for stones-both are effective

Okay this is sounding more like intervertebral disc rupture-especially with the pins and needles-if your back cracks a lot, this means that you have extra "play" in your spine-this can sometimes cause the spine to move excessively and presssurise the discs to the point of rupture-you need to go to a doctor and suggest an MRI of the lumbar spine and ask for a scan of the kidneys as well.

When you say pins and needles down your legs, this points towards spinal injury-have you hurt your back recently?

Go now! You may be antagonising the injury and making it worse.

Stop making excuses and go, if you can not see a doctor. Why not go to emergency??

If not then go in a couple of weeks but to be honest, you should have went 3 months ago when it started.
