There is nothing that can speed things up. Only time. It seems that some women can take as long as 18 months after stopping before conception is possible.

You have just entered waiting game #1.

Sometimes it takes up to 6 months for any kind of birth control to wear off, and allow you to get pregnant. Another way of helping you get pregnant would be to try and not stress over not getting pregnant. The less you can stress the better. Good luck!

Unfortunately many woman are suffering with this same situation all over the world. The depo shot does a great at preventing pregnancy, so great in fact, that it takes many women anywhere from 12-24 months after coming off the shot to conceive. I wish the doctors would explain this to women before suggesting it. It has been know to cause many problems in women's cycles and their bodies in general. I lost sight from occular migraines while on this form of BC, and they didn't stop until 2 months after coming off. Since then I have yet to be able to go on any form of BC. I used to be on pills no problem. I would love to say it will be easy, but the majority of women coming off depo and trying to conceive are in for a bumpy ride. Good luck!
