Can you be more specific if possible? Is it like a discharge? If you smell a not so good smell coming from yourself this is a sign of an infection. Go see your doctor right away.

It sounds like you could have an infection of some sort. Are you sexually active? I don't want to put terrible thoughts into your head or scare you, but it sounds like you could POSSIBLY have an STD.

    It could be bacteria "build-up".

Have you tried douching? Douching is not for everyone, so I would visit my OB if I were you. There is a pill to help "clean up" that smell and look if douching is not an option.

Just because it's smelly does not necessarily mean that you have an STI or infection.

By the way, I'm not a nurse or doctor, but things like this can happen for a number of reasons other than unprotected sex; such as wearing clothing that is too tight down there, not wiping properly, not cleaning properly down there when you take a shower...

    Hope some of this helps...

Bad odor is a good indicator that something is wrong. I have never heard of "bacteria build-up". Is there a medical term for it?

Look, I'm not trying to have a medical argument with anyone, which I specifically stated previously that I am not a nurse or a doctor.

Possibly I misrepresentated what I was trying to say.

Yes, bacteria can build up down there causing an infection which can cause the bad odor. All I was trying to state was that an STI is not her only answer as to why this is happening.

    Sorry about that.

I'm not trying to argue either. All I needed was an explanation of what you were trying to say. You provided that. Thanks.
