    Am I OK now that it's 1month and a 1/2?
    OK itz been a month 1/2 and I feel as if I'm getting better. But there are time that I just go into a deep depression about my ex girlfriend.I think about her so much and hate myself for not calling her because she needs her space she said. How do I get out of these deep depression's and start getting over her ? Also how do I know when it's a great time to start talking to girls again ? Need help

    By getting a life that you enjoy without her and being happy by just being you, and finding out what it is your about. By staying busy and enjoying yourself.

    When you are over the ex enough to know that its time for you to have fun. When you can leave the past behind, and look forward to the future. Hope this helps.

    Tal is spot on right. You need to get a life without her. 1.5 months just isn't long enoiugh to get through this, trust me, I have been there as have many others here.

    You will get through it but you need to give yourself time to breath, time to grieve and you also need to start doing some positive activities to keep your mind busy. Exercise is a good one but there are countless others, just avoid the drinking alcohol one.

    Take small steps and before you know it,things will seem much, much better, I promise!!

    This is also normal I did this a lot when my ex broke up with me 5 months ago. Although I think of her I'm not depressed or hurting inside. It's more of a lonely feeling of not having a girlfriend to love or hold hands with. I sometime feel thinking about that with ex but I try to avoid this as much as possible.

    DO NOT HATE yourself for not calling her. This is actually the best thing to do on a breakup. Because with NC you can heal yourself. I did this, I contacted my ex 2 months after she dumped me. And when I did this I eneded up back at square one. DO NOT DO THIS!

    You do this by NC, staying busy, coming to terms that it is over.. I believe this is the most important part when getting over her... when you do this the healing begins. But only you can decide that. You can do it now or in 4 months like I did and hurt, and be depressed like you.

    If you feel comfortable you can talk to them now, But as far as dating you should wait until you are emotionally stable. You don't want to give 50% to someone new because you are still thinking of your ex. You want to give 95%.
