How to make J tube fit from drain to wall pipe
Putting in a new sink in bathroom and the J tube isn't quite long enough. Also, the wall pipe fits the J tube, but the drain is too small of a diameter. Are there some adaptive parts that can be used, and if I need a different size /length J tube, how would I measure for it? Yes, I am a girl, but I'm really trying to learn...

    OK Micki,

We can help but we need more information. What material are the pipes and trap in question? What's the size of each? There's a Nylon reducing gasket that fits in a 1 1/2" or 2" trap that will reduce down to 1 1/4" to pick up your lavatory tailpiece. But I really need more details. Cheers, Tom
