    Disposer plugged
Hi. My kitchen sink disposer must be pluged up. The motor runs, and the water swirls, but it stays in the sink.

I have tried using a plunger. That did the job a while back, but not this time.

It is an IN SINK ERATOR. Any suggestions?

Your problem is usually just outside the disposer in the trap and lateral. It is easy to pull the trap and also rod the lateral. Check inside the discharge tube from the disposer, be sure its clear too.

Thank you, Ballengerb. It worked! I bought two bottles of fine champagne and some ribeyes with the money I saved. Great fun.
