    Craftmade ceiling fans
We have had installed for the second time 3 craftmade flush ceiling made fans. They have a speed control switch. When operated they are emitting a electric type smell which
Is very uncomfortable to be in same room.

My other craftmade's are not flush mounted and to not emit any smeel like the other 3.

Has any one have any recommendations??

When a switch gives of a smell it is a bad sign. I'd replace it even if that means a new fan. If you want to tear it apart Ceilingfanrepair could walk you through it. I just bought a replacement Triton fan at Lowe's for $59 with factory remote. Sometimes they are so inexp[ensive I don't try to fix them. Time is money for me.

They have a speed control switch on the wall? Unless it came with the fan, that's the reason for the smell. You can use fans with certain wall switches.

You get what you pay for. Buying a $50 remote fan you will end up replacing it again and again.
