    Marriage and Bankruptcy
If one was engaged and about to marry someone from a different country would it be wise to file bankruptcy (in the USA) first before the marriage (to be pefromed outside the US) or does it not really matter if they own nothing together?

If they own their separate things. Do not have any joint accounts then if one person files it will not effect the other person.

Is it a good idea to get this all figured out and straightened away before marriage I would think that it is better to get that done.
