Giving the choice
Hey guys, listen I've decided to go for something a little different for this question so here goes.
OK picture the scene, you've split up, you still love her/him and can't stand the thought of being without your loved one, giving the choice would you...
Enter a virtual environment where nothing is real, its all in your head but you can live and be with your loved one for as long as you want, you can be happy and have everything you desire except of course it wouldn't be real (think Total Recall)
Or
Stay in the real world and try and move on, find someone else and basically handle everything real life throws at you.
Your thoughts please
Cheers

In the beginning when she broke up with me, I would think in my mind when I was alone and when I went to bed that we were still together to ease the pain. But I knew I couldn't do this all the time because it was interferring with my healing process. Even last week I did this but the pains gone and I could think of her without getting emotional. So to answer your question Zoo, No I would not. That was the past, and life is to short to hurt over an EX?

Hmmm OK good point, but what if this "virtual enviroment" wasn't you thinking it, imagine it being like a 3d video game, like I said think of Total Recall, everythin would seem real to you except it wouldn't be, you would be in a coma like state for arguments sake.

No I wouldn't want to live in a fantasy world. I would want real memories not fake. Plus for someone that hurt me I would want to waste future memories on my ex. She doesn't deserve that.
