Losing the tummy fat
I am 19 years old and I am around 7 stones in weight. The only problem I have is with my tummy, for years I have had tummy fat and it is really becoming a problem. I am starting a new eating plan and exercise routine and just wanted some feedback on that.
Every morning I have an apple and banana, about an hour later I do about an hour of jogging and then 20 minutes of weight training.
For lunch, around 2pm I will have chapatti with either meat, chicken, lentils, gopi (cauliflower) just depends on what is cooked and I also have red onions.
About 2.5 hours (around 5.30 - 6pm) later I will have fruit, usually kiwi fruit and peach or pineapple.
After about 3 hours (around 8.30pm) I will have weetabix with banana and strawberries in skimmed milk.
After about 2 hours I will eat an apple.
Throughout the whole day I drink about 8 - 10 glasses of water.
Also every Friday I allow myself to have fish and chips.
I exercise for 5 days in the week and I am also thinking of adding an hours walk to that is well.
If you let me know what I am doing right and even wrong and what I can improve in, thanks :)

Sweetie, I hope that you won't give up on your exercise routine as quickly as you have on waiting for a reply. Don't forget to Exercise your body and patience with yourself and others because stress can also cause tummy fat for women. Remember, Relacore? ;)
Good luck, Sweetie

How tall are you? To even be near over weight at seven stone you'd have to be pretty short.
Have a quick work through of what you are eating and the exercise you are doing I'll tell you now you are putting your body in danger. Also it will make it want to retain any fat you do have for dear life - literally. If you up the calories so that the amount you are not burning off is around 1000 then you will lose more fat (you're body will come out of starvation mode - cling onto all resouces) with the bonus of more nutrients.
I would put money on you not having any tummy fat, I think you need to improve yourself esteem. What else is going on in your life at the moment? It's so easy to project everything onto your body - in fact half the time it seems to be encouraged.
I don't think you need to lose any more weight and you are not fat by any stretch of the imagination - I'm sure you know this somewhere.
I'm sorry I didn't write back earlier I was trying to work out the best way to put all this in the hopes that you will listen and believe me.

A lot of it is genetic. I've had a sixpack of stomach muscles since I can remember and I never had to do situp or exercise to get them. So since you don't appear to be genetically gifted you'll have to get them the hardway which is to cut out all fats and processed food from your diet. So that milk and the fish and chips will have to go!
It might not be worth all the work after you see all the work it takes?

Right before anyone else posts can I please point pout that 7 stone is 98lb. That means for this person to be within the healthy range of BMI they'll have to be 5"1' (bmi 18.5) to 4"5' to be at the top of the normal weight range. The average height for person is 5 feet 3.4 inches and a man 5 feet 9.2 inches (in america)*
You do the maths.
Seriously people engage brains.

Don't expect fat to come off a certain part of your body, fat always gets removed entirely, never partially. Most people exercise the parts that they want to get thinner, bad idea, exercise thoroughly. Again, Don't expect to see JUST your tummy-fat go away, id say its impossible unless you get surgery or something
