My parents have moved into a brand new property, their house borders the neighbours back garden, the builders neglected to put any fence or wall between the two, the neighbours have painted half of the side of one of the house walls green, so my parents have an odd coloured house now, they have a brick style house that is not painted and it is awful, my mum and dad are in an terrible state, they feel their perfect, brand new home has been vandalised, the neighbours are abnoxious, both my parents are retired and just want a normal, quiet life, both have suffered with ill health and cannot deal with anymore stress, they think that even if the paint is stripped it will still look different from the rest of the there walls so it will never look the same again.

Can someone please advise what law covers this please, I have been told that damage and tresspass can be considered, I would really appreciate any advice or help

Tell your parents to fix the situation and present the bill to the neighbors. If they don't pay, sue them in small claims court.

Will any of this make them nicer neighbors?? Maybe!
