Deed on Mortgage not on loan
My daughter's name is on the deed but not on the loan but yet she received a letter stating that property is in preforeclosure. Since she is not on the loan would she be affected in any way when she plans to buy a new house on her own. What should she do at this time

Since her name is only on the deed and the other party is near or in default on the mortgage. They notified her because of that .

Now the attorney will most likely petition the court to joint her to the mortgage so that the foreclose on the property.

She need to contact and attorney.
