    facials and skin peels
hi due to having chickenpox I have been left with several pot-marks, I'm also prone to spots and my skin tone is a little uneven. Does any one know of any products or treatments for this. My friend says chemical peels are supposed to be excellent but there is loads to choose from and are they dangerous. Thanks I would be very grateful for any advice x  :)

I have never tried a chemical peel, but I have had laser resurfacing done twice because I fish and my face gets sun damage all the time.I love how my face feels when the process heals,it's like baby's skin.People notice. The pain is minimal, and the cost is 500.00.My plastic surgeon said many of her patients do this once a year like me,and it's safe. The only part of this process that hurts,is the skin feels like you have a severe sunburn for two days, then the peeling begins usually on the third day.I think this will work for your problem, because it takes off 2-3 layers of your skin, somewhat more than a chemical would do.

A physician is the only person I would let do this.If they go to deep it can scar your face.Find one who does it on a regular basis.I live in the south, but look this procedure up on the internet. There are before and after pictures that you can see,and physicians who specialize in lasers.:)

Laser Surgery, Resurfacing and Dermabrasion will help improve the look of chicken pox scars. Alternatively, creams containing Vitamin-E may help a little. If you are concerned about the scars, please consult a dermatologist for a proper treatment.
