    Laminate floor cleaning
    I accidentally used a swifter on my floor and now it is all sticky. I can't seem to get rid of the stickiness.:o

    This Is A Laminate Floor Right, Not A Viynl Floor, There Different Cleaners For Both, If It Is A Laminate Floor They Make A Floor Cleaner That Is Just For Getting Up Sticky Stuff, Its Very Safe For The Finish Of The Floor,
    Now A Viynl Floor On The Other Hand Just Need Some Soapy Warm Water,
    I Have A Swifer But Never Gave Me A Sticky Floor.

    There is a company in Winston-Salem that can refinish you laminate or engineered wood floor. They did it for us and it was like new. You can call them at 336-245-4072 All-Things-Wood, Inc.

I'm planning on installing laminate flooring on the second floor of my house. What laminate floor thickness should I be looking for? There's tons of deals on 7mm thick laminate, but I've been advised to buy 8mm and up only.
