May be pregnant
The last time I got my period was the 1st or 2nd week in march. Its now almost the last week in June & I still have not gotten it. I am sexually active but since march I've only had sex 3 times with a condom & the condom did not break. Lately I've been getting frequesnt headaces, stomach cramps & back pains. I took a pregnancy test & it come out negative. Is there a chance I could be pregnant. Someone help!

There's always a chance you could be pregnant if you have unprotected sex. At home pregnancy tests can be wrong, the best bet would be to see a doctor and have a test done there. That is the only way to be sure. If it comes out negative, then the doctor will investigate further on what the problem is.

You need to go see your doctor. Physical needs to be done. There are always other reasons no period is present. Does not always mean your pregnant.
Best of luck.
Joe
Medications, Diet, stress, infections and other factors can cause you not to have your period.

If this was the first time you have ever had sex that is more than likely the reason... Our bodies change drastically after we give our virginity away. Still I do agree with Jesushelper. Go see your dr and have an annual done

Giving your virginity away doesn't cause drastic changes unless you get an STD or pregnant. If you used a condom and the condom didn't fail, having sex is no different for your body then if you would have used an inanimate object. In this case you need to go see a doctor to make sure your not pregnant or have some other problem since you aren't getting your period.

Jesushelper76 read what I said again I don't think you will find any doctor that will disagree with me. I didn't say that penetration and orgasm don't have an affect on the body what I said was that giving away your virginity doesn't. If you can find an article that talks about the physical differences that having sex with a condom can have vs masturbation and finds drastic physical differences between the two. I'll take my disagree my first one by the way and shut up but I don't think you will find any research to back you up on this one.

Its always better to have yourself examined by a doctor as the tests done at home are not always right. So see the doc before it is too late. If you are not pregnant then she might prescribe some tablets which will help the period cycle to move smoothly. Please don't waste any more time and see a doc today

I have personal experience that begs to differ with you Michael. So have a lot of women on this board. I also see a lot of changes due to "first timers" come through on this board. Especially in pregnancy and new motherhood. My dr told me the same thing. Once a women has sex for the first time it changes her body, sometimes it throws her period off sometimes it's just a slight widening of the hips, but once that virginity is lost a women's body changes. Now not all dr's know this, it depends on their field. Dr's are not all knowing but they are educated in the areas of all medicine. I would trust what my dr says because he is someone I trust to know what I'm telling him is true. He communicates with me and my needs. Some dr's don't.

Try to not get stressed, that could be a reason why you haven't had your period yet, I remember once I had a delay of 6 months-though I wasn't active- but it can be for tension,. are you regular?

Like I said earlier, there are many factors that can effect your period. Best thing for you to do is to visit your doctor and get a physical done. Some blood work. I hope it is something simple. Best of luck to you and please let us know how everything works out.

Understand that protected sex is not 100% effective. The only way you surely will not get pregnant is abstinence.
So, with that said, a doctor's visit is in order.

You could definitely be pregnant! I was almost 5 months pregnant when I found out I was having a baby. I took (at least) 3 pregnancy tests and went to my yearly physical at my doctor's office. I finally knew something wasn't right and called my doctor. She sent me to have blood work done, which was when I found out. If nothing else, go have your blood taken to give yourself a piece of mind

Not a doctor or a woman but
Hormones affect a woman's cycle, not sex. Sex can stimulate some hormones, but as OP said, this is not the first time she had sex. Her virginity is not a factor. Her cycle could have been delayed because of stress or because of pregnancy, but not just because she had sex. Losing one's virginity does not affect a woman's cycle. If OP is young her cycle may not have regulated yet. Show me an medical article that says protected sex can change a woman's cycle I'll admit I'm wrong I'll be happy to show you article that says puberty causes those things.
Puberty - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Back to the original question... it is possible you could be pregnant. Having sex, even protected makes that possible. The only way to know is to buy a pregnancy test or visit your doctor.

This girl already said that she has had periods before, and this was the first time she has missed one, so I'd say she has already hit puberty...
I agree with Michael about seeing the doctor though, there is no one on here that can tell you either way whether you are or aren't pregnant, all we can do is suggest what we would do in your position, and I think the vote is unanimously "see a dr." As for if it is possible that you are pregnant, YES. Good luck, and I hope you learn an answer soon.

Stress and diet can delay your period, along with pregnancy. Its really simple to rule out pregnancy, just take a test. If its positive, then you know what's causing the delay. If its negative, then you can investigate further into what the problem is.

Tests can still be negative even when you are pregnant. At this point the only test that will say positively is a blood test, and even then it could be wrong. I suggest gettingto your dr. They would be able to tell by now through a vaginal exam whether you are pregnant or not and definitely through an ultrasound.
I was also always told that sex itself is what changes the cycle, and have also done research, and shown that it's the hormones produced in sex that change the cycle - so technically you are both right...
