Does anyone have cytomegalovirus,and what has it done to you? Has it done anything to your liver?tell me your symptoms,and problems.

I used to provide respite care for a family, whose youngest child was diagnosed with CMV. The child had both hearing and vision problems. The child's symptoms started with a low grade fever and swollen glands, also developed liver problems.

The child died at the age of seven, from complications that included seizures, and respiratory problems.

I contacted cmv when I was pregnant with my second child and I don't have any problems that I now of I am pregnant now again so hoping she don't get cmv like my son did the chances are supposed to be very slim but can't be too sure x
