    Loud music during pregnancy?
I am 29 and 5 months pregnant with my 1st child. I listen to heavy metal music very loud pretty much every day. I love it. I've heard that music is soothing for babies in the womb. But I'm not sure if they were talking about the loud, fast, aggressive music that I have loved my whole life. I have plans to attend 4 concerts this summer and I don't want to buy tickets until I find out if it's OK.

You should be fine. A lot of times people will put on soothing music, put headphones on their bellies and let the baby listen. I don't think it matters if the music is alternative. I mean "soothing" could mean different things to different people.
Go to the concerts and have fun.
