My ex and I still have sex, I have been trying to get away from her because she has caused me so much heartbreak, but I am a sucker and get pulled back in because she always comes around and is a very attractive girl. She says she doesn't know what she wants from me and she always says she doesn't know what we are doing when I ask. She says she doesn't want to be in a relationship with me and Ive tried to get away and I tried to do no contact I got a week and a half behind me (which was a record for me but not long enough), she tried to contact me everyday during no contact, whether it was phone or email. She cries and tells me she doesn't know what she wants out of life and says maybe we will be together someday in the future. She still tells me she loves me, but all this has me so confused and I feel like an idiot for even talking to her still let alone having sex. I think I need to get away so she realizes what life is like without me, but its hard when she won't let go of the sex...

If you enjoy being with her and she enjoys being with you, why do you guys need to even think further in terms of relationships. When we start analysing like this, that makes it confusing. Take each day as it comes... don't talk about future together right now... or for that matter anything... don't even get too emotional... if you let her know through your actions that u're not emotional at all with her... she may make things easier for you and you will remain less confused. Most relationships fall apart once one of the parties gets too emotional (which is natural) but u don't need to show it too much... or else it will play havoc...
