What’s a good social search engine?
I have a question that might seem stupid… lol Does anyone know of a good website where I can search for stuff and maybe have my questions answered while doing it? Like you know, sometimes you want to find something and in the midst of searching you just want to ask someone about it… Just a place I can talk about it with others and sort of make sense of the search results I get. I guess something that’s a cross between social networking and searching?

This is as good a place as any!
You can make friends, argue with people and ask all the questions your heart desires!
Welcome! Lol!

I heard about this new site called ** Edit ** . Yup, that's with an “i”. It claims to combine both the elements of search engine with community – a social way of searching, basically. I've tried it out and it seems useful. You might want to give it a shot.
**Edit by CB - NO free advertising **

Geee could that possibly be an underhanded advertising tactic ;)
Let's see what the IP's say...

Possibly you really don't know how low some people will stoop to get some free advertising for their sites ;)
Fancy a double of quits on that one ?

Hunter, Nope it is a problem with your computer, you have IE on it and you went and had a look ;)
Seems more like an operator error to me.

Hey, I like Microsoft and I like IE - it's unhelpful and crashes at regular interval - I see no problem with this.
Also, if I have a problem, I can trawl through the brilliant Knowledge Base for days on end only to find;
A: The KB holds no real knowledge about my topic
B: The KB holds loads of knowledge about my topic, but you'd need a first in Nucleur Physics to decipher what the hell it's talking about!
It's superb! Honest!
On the plus side, my mouse has 3 buttons! Up yours Mac users! He he he!

Hahaha. You guys are funny. I know of a family friend who promotes an ebook and it was all in secrecy from the rest of the fam because he wanted people to think that he was successful. Well I found him online in a forum one day an the posts were exactly like the first two. He was the only one promoting himself.. lol we had a good laugh at his expense to say the least.
