I'm not only 2 weeks late for my period, but a couple weeks ago I had a brown discharge (did not look like dried blood) and I read somewhere that a lot of women have brown discharge at the beginning of their pregnancies! The last time I had sex with my boyfriend we used condoms and I was off birth control- it was around the very end of March and I've had 2 seemingly normal periods since then- other then this month of course! I have no symptoms at all (except excessive urination and sharp pains) and took a pregnancy test that showed negative! Which was a relief but now I'm worried because I'm still not getting my period, my stomach is getting really bloated, and I keep having sharp pains in my right side by my hip bone! No idea what's going on with my body!! :confused: any advice or suggestions?

Brown discharge is typically "old" blood. I get that every month. My dr. says it is normal.
I would say contact your doctor and make an appointment. The other symptoms - I am not sure as they could be a number of things. Again, call your doctor and get in asap.

But the brown discharge seemed to be in place of my period as well as it didn't look like dried/old blood and it lasted about a week! It was weird!

It won't look like dried blood. It is fluid - just like your period. It can be really dark brown or light brown. It just depends.
I normally get the brown the last 3 days of my period - every month.
Just call your dr. and get in for a check up. I always thought the brown stuff was weird and that there had to be something wrong with me, because it started after a miscarriage. On my annual check up - she told me that this was normal and that I was fine. So - once you hear that from your doctor you can put your mind at ease.

The brown blood could be "implantation bleeding" and it is usually very very light and usually last only a day or 2... but I would make a doctors appt, even to get a blood pregnancy test done. I am actually going through almost the same thing... I have very light pink bleeding for one day when my period was due Im now 12 days late and have done 2 hpt's both negative I have an appt wed. so I will let you know what the doctor says about the bleeding.
