Lightening my gold/orangey hair w/ box dye
I'm thinking of trying the box to lighten my hair a bit more, but I'm not sure that's smart. I can't afford the salon at the moment -n- I want my hair lighter... I went to the salon -n- they bleached , browned, then oranged my hair, so a week later when I went to the springs I used sun-in to get it where it is... would using the box kill my hair? It's been 4-6 weeks since the salon.

Sun in will do a more then satisfactory job of killing your hair. I went through this years ago and my hair cut off because of it. I wouldn't advise colouring it just yet.

I don't know If you have ever used boxed hair product before but its awefull!
I know you said you can't afford a salon right now but I would strongly suggest waiting, color in a box is damaging to your hair not to mention the fact that the color on the box and what you get are usually two different things. There are some things you can save money on by improvising but hair color is not one of them. Wait for the salon if you can, Trust me.
