91 honda accord won't turn over
I have my sisters car in the shop and I put power to the ignition side of the starter solenoid and it cranks over fine.

    Black wire with white tracer.

Do these cars have a starter relay? If so where is it located. I know they are usually down on the left side of the drivers foot.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks,

Starter motor solenoid (relay) is attached to the starter motor. The Main PGM-FI Relay is often located on the left kick panel.

I have three relays in the left kick panel but I am not sure which one to replace. There are two smaller ones that are identical as the ones up in the fuse box so I tried them both but the problem is still there. There is another flatter relay (black) which could be the relay you are talking about.. I guess I will have to call canadian tire to see if they have one in stock... I put jumper to the solenoid and the starter turns over no problem..

    Thanks again.

If you turn the ignition key on and off, you will hear the PGM-FI Main Relay click. It's around 1"x1"x1.5" and will be mounted on a steel bracket. This might help:

Click Main Relay and then Replace for your 1991 Accord.

True. But I hear about 3 clicks and if I touch the 3 relays at the kick panel I can feel them all click..

My brother went to look for a manual.. if I can fix this I think there will be a lot of people with the same issue from what I have read. Lol

    Thanks again..

I think I will look at the neutral start switch tonight.. as It doesn't seem to have a starter relay as such.

Thanks, I will let you know what happens...
