If I last started my period may 15th and it ended may 20th and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant we have tried every other day since the 20th and in the last week I have been getting weird lower abdomin pains and my breast/nipples are sore to the touch and I should start my period around the 12th and I just took a pregnancy test on June 9th in the morning and it said negative is that too early to test if my ovulation was suppose to be on the 29th

Yes. Very few women can actually find out they are pregnant before their expected period. You should wait until you have completely missed your period to take a hpt. Even if you ovulated on the 29th implantation probably wouldn't have happened until 8-12 days later. Then your body will start to produce the hormone hcg that the home pregnancy tests detect. You have to have a high enough level for it to show positive. Wait until you are 7 days late for your period. If you still get a negative test again in a few days. I didn't get a positive until I was 10 days late, and it was a faint positive. Also, try not to think about whether you are pregnant or not all of the time. I know it is difficult, but this kind of stress can actually delay your period. If you aren't pregnant, there is nothing more stressfull than not knowing! Make sure you stay relaxed and have fun trying! Keep us posted and let us know if you get your period. Remember that being a couple days late doesn't really qualify as being late. This will only get your hopes up adding to that stress level!
