Same here, its like who can do it the loudest wins, then the smart cat is waiting in the dunny till I pee , because he knows that's dads first stop, he will be sitting on the sink pawing at me to carry him downstairs, and Im not even a cat person. I feel like a room mate for the most part!

J_9, I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I've been there before, and I know how you must feel. Just keep your head up and things will be fine honey. And we are always here if you need to talk and let things out.

Thanks Sweetie. I am here now just to keep my mind occupied. Everyone is asleep and I am wandering.

Damnit, I just don't know what to do right now, I am going nuts. But morning will bring a new beautiful day. He is at peace, no suffering.

Damn, I am here all the time helping others, I never thought I might need help.

    You're very welcome my dear.

Just think, he is in a happier place, wherever that may be, and he doesn't feel pain or suffer. And I'm more then positive he is looking down on you and your family now. Tomorrow will bring a brighter day, and as the days go by your grief will lighten up and you will begin to feel better.

Everyone needs help in some parts of their life, and this would be a part of your life that you need guidance and support through.

Hugs to you Janine. Nights are the hardest hon, but often badly needed to help you "deal". You ARE here all the time helping other, but that doesn't exempt you from needing it back. Nothing wrong with receiving from time to time. You are definitely due!

After Terry died I had such a difficult time concentrating. I thought I was losing my mind! Then I learned that a lot of people feel that way after a loss like that. If I could give you any advice that I could it would be to nurture yourself. Each day will be a learning experience for you. As you know, everyone grieves in their own way. Eventually you realize that you are dealing with things a little better than before. That could mean you can think better, sleep better, eat better, talk about it more, talk about it less... it means different things to different people. Just pay attention to your body and keep looking after you.

I care, sweetie, I really do. Tomorrow will be a different day with new challenges, feelings and experiences. We'll be here for you if you need us.

    Warm gentle hugs,
    Didi

Janine, I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss.

It's very hard to lose someone you love, no matter how relieved you are that they're not suffering anymore.

If you need an ear to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to lean on... I'm here, anytime.
