I have a shower in the basement that has ceramic floor tile with grout on a concrete floor and ceramic wall tile with grout on a block wall. Its leaks in one corner of the floor and it's the only place I can see water. Is there a way to seal the grout to prevent it from leaking without tearing up the floor or walls. Is there an easy way to tell exactly where its leaking... Thanks

Ok Tell Me First How You Know It Is Leaking
As Far As Sealing The Grout, Im Not Going To Say That Will Fix A Leak, Water Proofing The Tile Floor Is Done Well Before You Lay Tile.
What Id Try First Is This. Do You Have Crack In The Floor Say In The Corners.
If So What You Need Is To Use Grout Caulk, It Will Move A little More And Not Crack Letting Water In. Try This First,
Now Don't Glob It On There, But Make Sure It Gets In The Cracks.

The Sealer By The Way Is More Of A Stain Repellant That Water Proff.

As Far As Finding The Leak Maybe Try Some Colored Water In Select Locations

glavine, thanks for the quick response. The opening to the shwoer has a small stoop about 6 inches high and its leaking in the corner of the wall that the faucet is on. It seeped behind the drywall on the other side of the stoop and the drywall and the door jamb to the bathroom is very wet. I will try to regrout amd use the grout caulk. I guess my question really is Is there a way to seal grout on the floor to keep it from leaking as I don't have any type of pan between it and the concrete. ALso the floor tile is the small tyoe with 1" x !" and 1" x 2" squares.

Sorry To Say But I Don't Know Of A Way To Seal That, It Sounds Like You Have A Few Probablems From The Start, No Pan For One And It Also Sounds Like There Is No Backer Board Behind The Tile Either.
The Thing With Grout, Is That Its Not As Water Proof As Most May Think, We Replaced Many A Tile Shower Where The Spray Of The Faucet Against The Wall Goes Right On Though The Grout To What Was Sheetrock Then On To The Studs
Ill Ask Around Tomm And See If I Come Up With Something Better To Use.

Thanks I apprecitate it. That's what I was afraid of. I'm guesing my only alternative is to tear up the floor tile and put in some kind of liner or pan. I was hoping there would be an easier solution or a way to somehow seal the grout..

They Do Make A Concrete Sealer, You May Try That As A Last Ditch Effort, Once You Do This It Make The Grout Really Tough To Get Out. This Actually May Be Your Fix, Grout Everything Again , Let It Dry, I Wish I Knew The Name Of It, But Its In A Orange Can 5gallon With A Black Lid, And Its Not Cheap.
Its Also Thick And Could Go Into The Cracks And Seal Them.
This Is A Big Difference Than Just Regular Tile Sealer. This Will Seal Your Tile And Grout,
It Is Safe To Use Also My Tile Guy Usest This On A lot If Not All His Natural Stone He Sets.
