    Hair Colour Correction
    Hair Colour Correction, HELP!!

I died my hair dark brown a couple of months ago, but it turned black. When my roots came through I put 2 other colours on to try and lighten my hair but it only took to my roots, I now have black hair, a brown colour, and my natural medium brown re-growth. So three shades with a hint of red. I hate it so I booked in a salon to have a colour correction.

I've booked in to have a student colour correct my hair with the professional telling them what to do. How damaging is this process? Will my natural colour come back? Wil my hair fall out?

I've have quiet long hair so it would take way too long to grow out and it looks pretty bad. Please help, any advice

It can be an extremely damaging process, however, at the salon they will do a deep condition to minimze the damage. You may even want to buy their deep conditioning treatment to continue it at home for a few weeks. Your natural color will not come back with a stripper, not immediately anyway. They will probably strip the color and then add new color that is of your choosing or close to your natural color. You will probably need a trim too, and your hair shouldn't fall out as long as someone knows what they are doing.

Hello, Jodie. I've received your PM. If you have 3 different colors in your hair, the instructor or hairstylist will advise the student to pre-lighten the colored portions of your hair and then apply a color that's close to your natural new growth color. Once you strip your hair, you will not get your natural color back. The only way to get your natural color back is to grow your hair out. And each time you dye or bleach your hair, it will cause some level damage. You will not lose your hair if the process is done correctly.
