    Condenser fan (outdoors) doesn't work
Today is my first time this year to use the central air condition. However, the condenser fan (outdoors) doesn't work. I cab hear the buzz noise. The unit inside the home is working. The condenser fan doesn't even rotate when I try to move it by hand. What I can do with it?

    Thanks a lot!

The buzzing you hear,is maybe the contactor,, which should buzz, does nothing run ? The compressor nor the fan motor. If compressor is running but not the fan and the fan is stiff and will not turn even by hand I`d say replace the motor and when replacing mptor always replace the capacitor at the same time. If nothing is running check to see that you have power coming out of the contactor,if so check for bad capactor

Condenser fan [ 1 Answers ]

I have a ac/heat pump. I used the heat pump the other night. The disired temp was reach, but the condenser fan will not shut off unless I turn it off at the breaker. Could this be a relay issue or thermostate issue?
