Here's my daughter's class being lead out by their instructor, who is 18 and a champion dancer.

She is the first girl in line. Sorry, pic is lousy. No flash photography allowed.

Well, I am sure they were all very cute. So, you have her learning step dancing? And you are learning too? I think I would keel over from a heart attack.

Yes, she has been stepping for over a year now. She won't move up to hard shoe for another year, though.

The ghillies really do hurt the feet - nothing but a strip of leather between you and the floor. At least with the hardshoe there is more support and room for gel pads.

My birthdaughter is in both dance (jazz and tap) and karate (she's an orange belt). Her aparents were told that it was good for concentration and self esteem. She loves it!

Irish is the only form of dance my husband will willingly watch. Also helps that the studio is right down the street!

CHICAGO - Trendy wheeled sneakers that let kids zip down sidewalks, across playgrounds and through mall crowds could also send them rolling into emergency rooms on a stretcher, say doctors who blame a rash of injuries on the international craze.

It's called “heeling,” named after Heelys, the most popular brand. They're sold in 70 countries and are so hot that their Carrollton, Texas, maker, Heelys Inc., recently landed atop BusinessWeek's annual list of fastest growing companies.

J, give me the Heelys. Now! If you can't wear the helmet the doctor gave you then you can't keep the Heelys.

Lol... I hate those shoes... I worked in retail and I was always afraid that some kid would run down some poor old lady and they would have to go to the hospital... not to mention the black marks that they left on the floor I had to mop.
