I continue to receive unknown & blocked phone numbers on my cell phone, I want to know if I can purchase a program or something to notify me of who is calling my phone?

They're most likely sales calls, I don't know about a program for a cell phone, I'd just change your number

The same thing happened to me. I talked to my cell phone company and they basically told me the only thing they could do was change my number, sand they did it for free instead of charging like they usually do. Since then, the calls have stopped.

Oh yeah Fr_Chuck... you are correct. I just assumed they weren't saying anything like my phone calls were.

The 1st ansr is probably best... change u're #. I wrk for cell phn co.-so I'll give you detailed answr. If u have cllrID, & u're getting "unknown" or "blocked" cllrIDs, than they're either comng from #s that don't have callrID (callng 2 u), or they've blockd their #s calling u. Some cell because will provide extra srvc that forces callers 2 idntfy themslvs or call won't go through... & some don't. Police will only tell u 2 chng u're #-unlss it's life threatng. I don't believe there's any cell co that can keep an individual caller from dialing u're #... yet - we're wrkng on it. Frustrtng... I know-but there's only so much we can do. Just remembr-not long ago-there was NO ability see ANYONE's callerID... we've come a long way!

Vote for me for President in 2012. Telco's will have to show Number, The're will be no Junk faxes, Law that says annonymous faxes will go into effect. We can fight these
Domestic Terrorist. They have taken away our right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I don't know anyone in These United States, who LIKES or WANTS these calls.
Money and Politics... What a Pain.
I had cell phone company block all calls that show Annonomys. They blocked ALL incomming calls, Jerks. My phones worked better 10 years ago.

Stratmando - remind me not to vote for you! There are legit reasons for blocking caller ID, having nothing to do with harassing phone calls from salesmen. Think about the law-abiding citizen who wants to make an anonymous tip to the police about a crime. Or perhaps you yourself have an unlisted number and want to be able to call customer service at some company but don't want them to know your phone number (after all, you don't want them to add your number to their database, right?). Are you telling us you would require that people with unlisted numbers reveal them? If you don't like people calling you with their number blocked, don't answer the phone! And by all means, get your number registered on the "do not call' list so the evil salesmen don't call you in the first place! You can also sign up for a service with your telco that requires that any callers to your home number must either be on your pre-approved list or reveal their ID or your phone won't ring. Works great, problem solved.
