Wiring 1 phase Thermopump to 2 phases breaker
    Hi,

I must wiring a 1 phase pool thermopump(TDM) to my electrical panel.
    Thermopump spec:
    Voltage: 208/230V
    Frequency: 50/60 Hz
    Phase: 1
    Breaker: 20
    Wiring: #10-2

I need 2 phases to distribute 240v to the appliance from my Cutler-Hammer Panel.

I have 1 black wire, 1 white and 1 green from the thermopump.

Is it the right option to do it that way:
    - black wire from thermopump to black wire from breaker
    - white wire from thermopump to red wire from breaker
    - Green wire from thermopump to ground slide into the panel
    - This will be a breaker with ground so I'll connect the wire from the breaker to the ground slide of the panel.

    Thanks in advance!

You will need a Cutler Hammer circuit breaker Model # CH22GF. This will come with the white pigtail that needs to connect to the neutral bar of the panel.

The black and white feeding the pump will connect to the load terminals of the breaker.

Re-mark the white at both ends of the circuit with black tape to indicate that it is being used as a hot wire.

There will be left over a silver neutral terminal on the breaker. Since the load is straght 240 volts, nothing needs to connect to this terminal.
