    Problems with sink
    Hello 1st time I have used this site.Hope you can help.

    I have a kitchen sink a double 1.I bought a house an moved in an was cleaning.I used the little sink to clean some rags .Then water was all over the floor .I opened the cupboard under the sink .The water was coming out of the dishwasher pipe.We are not going to have a dishwasher.Theres a pipe that can be used if a dishwasher is needed .This is where the water came from.

    How can I stop this`?

    The tail piece has a small tee where the dishwasher drain connects. You can plug that small tee or more properly replace the tail piece with one designed for no dushwasher. Kind of unusual for a seller to take ta dishwasher. Unless stipulated in the sale it is a built in fixture and should remain. Why not be a hero and buy a dishwasher?
