    Ionic or Molecular Product
    How can we test to see that the product is Ionic or Molecular compund?? Answer... Immidiately..!.

    Please keep in mind that you cannot label compounds as strictly ionic or covalent. All ionic compounds have an amount of covalency. Some covalent compounds have a degree of charge separation.

    Ionic compounds dissolve in polar solvents, especially those which ionize, such as water and ionic liquids. They are usually appreciably soluble in other polar solvents such as alcohols, acetone and dimethyl sulfoxide as well. Ionic compounds tend not to dissolve in nonpolar solvents such as diethyl ether or petrol.
