Hi!

2 weeks ago all of a sudden, a light grey spot appeared in the center of my sight in the left eye. This caused that I couldn't see the depth of objects, I mean, I had trouble to plug an appliance to the electric socket. It was better to close the left eye and see just with the right eye.

I went to see a doctor and she didn't find any physical anomaly and told me that it was the kind of spots that appear when the vitrous converts to water. She gave me eye drops to unswell (prednisolona). I had to use it for 12 days.

It has been 8 days since then, and I haven´t improved. I have noticed that in the center of my sight, the things appear smaller, or more distant. It is more notorious when reading, the letters in the center appear smaller and the ones surrounding appear in normal size.

It seems that I´m getting used to this situation because I now had no trouble to identify the depth of objects, but the vision is the same. I was reading about the spots caused by the vitrous but it says that they move and do not interfere with vision. My spot is fixed in the center of the sight, and it makes things look smaller.

Just before that happen I changed the graduation of lenses, I wasn't taking any medicine. Could any body give me some advice? Thanks so much.
