    Am I pregnant
Is it possible to be pregnant if I am on birthcontrol and have sex but than the second day after I start to spot but accoding to my birthcontrol I shouldn't be on my period? Or could it be because I just started my birthcontrol and I am not regulated to my new scedual?

Is this the first time you've ever taken birth control? My doctor advised me to use a backup method for a month after starting an all new pill (not new pack, new Rx). Sometimes spotting occurs while on the pill, especially as your body gets used to it. Sometimes, if you don't take the pill at the same time each day, it can cause you to spot. Since you are spotting you probably aren't pregnant, but if you are really worried, go pick up a pregnancy test and find out.

Spotting is not uncommon when starting on birthcontrol for the frist time. Or the med may not be strong enough and breakthrough bleeding is occurring. I agree with the other poster that until your med has been in your system and regulating it, use a back up method asin condoms. Also I would check with your doc if you are concerned. He can decide if you need to change or continue with your meds. I'd also get a pregnancy test as well to be on the safe side and ally your anxieties.

As long as you've been taking your pill at the same time every day for 2 weeks, or since you've started your period I really doubt you're pregnant. Unless you're the unlucky .01 percent. I've heard that the pill does make you spot a little bit, so it's normal. You can't tell if you're pregnant until 2 weeks after you've had sex. So don't worry, the only time I would worry is if you've missed a period.
