    Engine malfunction light on 1998 honda shuttle
    Sirs or madams,
    Can anyone advise me as to why the "engine malfunction light" anoying keeps coming on when I start and also while driving my 1998 Honda shuttle which I have had since Feb. this year, here's hoping somebody can throw some light on this problem

    The Check Engine Light comes on to let you know that you have a problem. If you take your car to AutoZone, they can attach a scan tool to the data link connector and read the code(s) that is/are being "thrown." AZO does not charge for this service. A code will direct you to what needs fixing.
