    Air conditioning ducts
I have an A/C vent in a walk-in closet. Is it possible to close that duct and open it from the other side to provide air to the bedroom? If so, how or is this a professionals job?

Is the wall of the closet and the wall of bedroom a common wall. Is the vent just on the other side of the will from where you want the vent in the bedroom. If you can get into the attic it should be very easy to move from one place to the other. If it does not have an attic above it then you may have to do some cutting to the walls. If the closet vent is in the wall and you just want it to come out of the wall in the bedroom at the same place you could make a box out of wood to attach a grill to in the bedroom and cover the one in the closet. \

Give me some more info and I think I can make this much clearer to you, I know it sounds mixed up now...

It is a common wall. I just want the air to come out of the duct from the bedroom instead of the closet. There is no attic, just a crawl space. Does this help?

It is a common wall, I just want the vent to be turned around so the vent will be in the room instead of the closet. Can I just cut from the bedroom? Can you just cut into the duct work, close off the other side and put the vent in the bedroom?

This register is in the floor, correct? If so you will need to go under the house and locate the duct that feeds that register, find out if it's flexible, you may be able to just cut a hole in the bedroom floor install a new boot in the floor and just reroute the duct to the new register.
