    Hello tt:

More information is needed. Was the car NEW or USED??

If it was new, you can probably get a new one from the company. If it was used, you're out of luck.

Yes, what state, most states ( not all) have lemon laws for new cars,
Some have laws for some used cars.

But it is not a situation with the lender, you owe them, but with the seller, who would have to pay the money back if it is a lemon and if after having many chances to fix the problem don't/

If this was a used car bought as is, normally there is no protection.

If it is a new van, the dealer will have to have had several chances to correct it, then you will have to follow the rules of the lemon law for your state as to who to notify and request it to be taken back by the dealer.

Getting approved for an auto loan? [ 2 Answers ]

I'm looking into getting my first car, and my parents are taking out a loan from the bank so that I don't have to make car payments (my insurance is high enough as is, being a new driver). I just bought a car and financed it through the dealer. The only reason I did this is because I am coming into a large sum of money in a week or so and figured I would just pay off the car loan when that money arrives. However, my credit is not that great and the auto dealer told me that if I made...
