Warming a bit of apple cider vinegar on the stove when you cook will help eliminate fish odors.

This from Paul James "Home Grown Cooking" on ridding fish odor:

You need to clean everything step-by-step.

First, wash hands in hot soapy water to remove any fishy liquids and then rinse in undiluted white vinegar or lemon juice. Or, you can rub one half of a lemon on your hands.

For the utensils and counters, be sure and clean with soapy water.

To clean the air in the kitchen set a bowl of vinegar on your counter. It works as an odor neutralizer.

Burn a couple of scoops of ground coffee on a piece of aluminum foil on your burner while you cook and while you are eating or boil some cinnamon and cloves in an uncovered pot.

Be sure and scrub your pans first and then empty the sink and wash your plates and utensils in clean water.
