    Smell under bathroom sink
    Hi,
I have a strong odor coming from under my bathroom sink. We removed the vanity and lifted some old linoleum then bleached everything put a fan on it and later painted with Kilz. The smell was gone after doing this. We also covered the pipe so now I'm think it is coming from that. Then we put great stuff as far back as we could reach into the space where the pipes run, let it dry and the smell was gone so we put everything back and started using the bathroom again and after 2 days the smell is back as strong as ever also the toilet clogged. We have no real crawl space or basement just a slab any idea what this might be any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I think your vent stack is plugged and you are getting sewer gas in the room. You could rod the vent through the roof if its safe to get up there. Plung the toilet first to see if you can knock the obstruction loose, probably noy. Then move on to the vent rodding.
