Me and my partner are trying for a baby its only our first month that we have been trying. My last period was 6/5/07 and have been having sex pretty much every other day. I am now finding myself feeling sick in the mornings. Is it too soon to be having this feeling or am I just thinking about it too much. My cycle is every 29 days I'm rather eager to find out as I had an ectopic pregnancy 2 years ago.

I think you should really wait for your period and if you don't get a period and miss by a few days take a test (and hope its good news) and as for the feeling it really is to early to be feeling sick like you said yourself your probably thinking too much about it and that does happen you start to feel like you are actually pregnant, in the meantime relax and don't stress about it.

Um, do you mean 5/5/07? Because if you have already had your period for June, I think you are close to wonder woman... lol...

It probably is too soon to tell, but HPT tests can work as soon as 5 days before your missed period, so it wouldn't hurt anything, but you could get a false negative. I had a pos. 9 days before my missed period... so it can happen... I always bought the dollar store HPTs in bulk, because I tested so often. If you get a positive on the test, call your doctor and make an appointment to have it verified. Normally, it takes a little longer than a month of trying, depending on the swimmers, and depending on your body... but sometimes, you get lucky. Just keep in mind, that if you are not, its best not to stress out. Remember, it can take healthy couples up to a year to conceive naturally. Good luck!

The more you stress and worry is going to make it nearly impossible for you to conceive. Trying to get pregnant works against you as well cause it takes all the fun out of it, your body knows this. Go out for dinner have some romance. Baby making should be fun and not business. Your body tends to think that if it's business then your not going to make that deadline. Now if your not trying to get pregnant you'll end up there sooner. You think all those teens were trying to get pregnant? Anyway, test after you miss your period. Use the first morning urine you'll get better results with it. If you get a negative and don't get your period within a week retest. I am guessing that you meant that your lmp was on may sixth not June fith? Just remember to have fun with it. One of the first things we teach our kids is to play... just keep that in mind
