Oh good to know thanks Ruby. His hair is so short that they are easy to see, and me being a worrier... and with him being my first "child." Well you know.

I thought of you today... one of the teachers I teach with just got a new pitbull puppy. He is like a steel grey almost blue color (never have seen that before) with a bit of brown and white... she named him Diesel. He is so tiny right now... but those feet are huge...

LOL. Yes, PB's come in many colors and sizes. Diesel is what they call a blue nose. I hope your co-worker will neuter him when he is six months or so. It really does help with agressivie behavior in some cases. They are very cute when they are puppies, aren't they? Very friendly. The sooner your co-worker gets him into a good obedience class, the better. They need very structured and hands on training. The last thing she will want is an out of control Pit. Lots of socialization with small children and dogs, consistent correction is the key.

CBW, I didn't know rabbits enjoyed the rain. As far as Millie goes, well, look at her mess as beautiful artwork! LOL She is a silly one, that little girl of yours.

He will be coming to school with her every day. So he will be used to the kids, I am not sure about obedience classes, but there are 3 of us that got new dogs all around the same time, and we do obedience together... so maybe we will encourage her to join us.

That is a great idea! Invite her into your little group. There is no such thing as overtraining. Especially when it comes to Pits. He needs as much positive reinforcement training as possible. Without it, she will be in big trouble one day. I know it is hard to bring this kind of stuff up with someone else, just be watchful of him. When he starts teething, those teeth and that jaw can do some damage, even if it is unintentional. She needs to be really careful with the children. My dog is great with small dogs and children because I worked with her. But, I still would not turn my back for a second. She is my responsibility and I will not leave her unattended with anyone unless I am confident that the other person knows how to handle her.

CBW, although her father can be a silly at times, I think her mother can be quite the "card" as my grandmother used to say.

Well, ladies, I have to go. Catch up with y'all later. MWAH.

Sorry, but I own that title. I have a t-shirt to prove it! Although it says: "Queen of the 'effing' Universe". It is imprinted on top of another imprint of one of those name ID tags that you use at conferences and reunions. You know the ones I am talking about. It says: Hello, My Name Is,. Then, the name "written" in is "Queen of the 'ef... ' Universe. The friend that gave it to me knows me too well. ;)

Knickers? Well, how many people can see those? Huh? Are you trying to convince me that you go running around outside in your knickers? The only way anyone else besides CB will know that you are the true Queen is if they see the proof. Until then, I rule baby!

Yes, Emmy, I believe Goddess would trump Queen, In my opinion. But, then again, some people may believe differently. Do you have a Goddess garment that you wear proudly in public?

There you go CBW. I will readily admit I am an old hag if I am allowed to keep my title.
