    My 11hp Craftsman riding mower will not start
    My mower just keeps turning over but not starting up . I have checked everying ,all I know is I was cutting my land and it just died and now will not start . Please help thank you

    Sounds like you don't have a starting problem, you have a running problem. Remove the air cleaner and dribble a few drops of fuel into the carb or try starting fluid. See if you get at least a pop or two. If no check your plug for spark. Remove the wire and unscrew the plug. Place the wire back on the plug and ground the plug to the engine. Try starting the engine, you should get a blue spark on the plug. This is just a starting point so try these things and come back.

    Hey Mike, got your message but not the answers to what happened when you try my suggestions. Let's keep all exchanges on this site and not PM, others can help us too that way. Did you see a blue spark when you tested your plug? Did the engine pop when you dribbled fuel or starting fluid into the air cleaner while cranking?
